"My wife, children, and I were on holiday in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, quite close to San Sebastian. The weather wasn't great there, so we drove on. I had already read in articles that the Spanish city is the mecca of the culinary world. It has the most Michelin stars per square meter. It's a fantastic city with a division between an old and a new part. In the old part, you could enjoy delicious tapas in a relaxed atmosphere. In the new part, there are many star restaurants. This mix between 'ordinary' cuisine and the star level really appeals to me. We let ourselves be surprised at all levels."
